Pruuf Article Checks

  1. Program description. Pruuf Article Checks is a text message service from Truespire Systems Inc. Text a screenshot, headline or link of a news article to XXXXX, and Pruuf replies with a confirmation that it is checking the article, then the article's credibility score: a number from 0 to 100, a one-word verdict, a one-line takeaway, how many of its claims research confirmed, and a link to the full check on www.hellopruuf.com. You can also join by texting JOIN to XXXXX, or by scanning a Pruuf QR code, which opens that text for you. Pruuf only replies to messages you send; it never sends marketing or promotional messages.
  2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to XXXXX. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time, by texting "JOIN" or "START" to XXXXX, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT work the same way as STOP.
  3. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at hello@truespire.ai.
  4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  5. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive up to 2 messages for each article you send (a confirmation and the article's score); if Pruuf cannot check what you sent, you receive one message saying so instead. Message frequency varies with how many articles you send, and free use is limited to 15 scored articles a month. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
  6. If you have any questions regarding privacy, please read our privacy policy: https://www.hellopruuf.com/privacy.html#sms. Your mobile number and your consent to receive text messages are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
